At the heart and soul of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Third Order of Saint Francis is our desire to respond to the needs of God's people. As Franciscan women of faith, we serve wherever we are needed most, and in this way we fulfill our mission to make God more deeply known and loved.

We in the Mission Advancement Office make this mission possible through our ministry of fundraising. As Henry Nouwen states: In fundraising we discover that we are all poor and that we are all rich, and in ministering to each other—each from the riches that he/she possesses—we work together to build the Kingdom, the Kingdom of God.

The purpose of fundraising is to ensure that we will continue to have the resources necessary to support our current ministries. Fundraising also aids us in providing for the basic needs of our elderly and infirm sisters who have, and still faithfully do, serve God's people.

Because we believe that nothing we do is ever done alone, we invite you to support our mission by becoming our companions. It is our fervent hope and prayer that you will embrace this invitation to journey with us as sister/brother and friend. With St. Francis, we can create a just and compassionate difference in a world that needs the presence of Jesus' love...one step at a time...Thy Kingdom Come!
