Sisters Participate in 2018 Stevens Point Garden Parade

Sister Rita Schmidt, Sister Liz Koszarek, and Sister Catherine Kieliszewski participated in the 2018 Stevens Point (Wisconsin) Area Garden Parade held July 14th. Sister Rita had been invited to be a vendor located in Joe and Audrey Somer's garden. Many years ago their daughter Pam was a student in Sister Rita's classroom.

While Sister Rita painted with watercolor in the garden, Sister Liz was sales clerk and cashier, while Sister Catherine entertained the visitors. Sister Rita noted that it was a delight to be in the midst of God's creation and beauty all day. "As with Francis," she shared, "we praised and thanked God for the gift of nature's loveliness."
